FLOCK
Our Pedigree Cotswold Sheep
Our flock is at the centre of everything we do, and their wellbeing is our first priority. Each sheep is known by name, handled gently, and cared for with patience and respect. Each piece we sell comes with the assurance that our sheep live ethical, happy lives – a value we are truly proud of. Here are a few of the Flock…
Daphne
Over the years, Daphne has entered many agricultural shows and has been awarded numerous rosettes; her exceptional wool has earned prizes of its own. She’s been an incredible mum too. We love Daphne, and when we are checking on the sheep in the field, there’s nothing she enjoys more than leaning in for a long, satisfying scratch.
Reuben
He has enjoyed several successes at local agricultural shows, proudly earning his own rosettes. Andrew has shown Reuben at these events and has worked hard to promote the Cotswold breed, and Reuben truly is a fine example of it.
Reuben has fathered many of our sheep, and his strong bloodline and excellent qualities will live on in the flock for years to come. He’s a true gentleman among sheep.
Bellatrix and Bella
Sweet-natured and inseparable, Bellatrix and Bella are as charming as they come. Bellatrix, however, with her deep voice carries a touch of diva energy. She insists on being the centre of attention and is not shy about showing her displeasure if another sheep dares to get in her way. Bella, ever gentle, keeps her sister grounded.
Both love a good scratch and are almost always found side-by-side. They are simply adorable.
Ethan
Abigail has enjoyed halter training Ethan to follow in the footsteps of his father by competing at local agricultural shows. Abigail states he has been a dream to train and has taken to it with ease. We are sure that Ethan has enjoyed it too and seems to know where he is off to when the stock box arrives at the field.
The Cotswold Sheep Society
A registered charity dedicated to the conservation and promotion of the rare Pedigree Cotswold sheep breed. The breed is currently classified as “At Risk,” with only 900–1,500 breeding ewes in the UK.
